Cruel principle of the extreme lover: to build the body of the beloved in the image and likeness of one’s desire and pain. The artistic process as a metaphor for the construction of a body of pleasure-pain.
Flesh macerated in the persistence of pleasure and impact, in repetition. Desire as a place of struggle.
The body generated by violence or extreme desire is an open body. Like Rembrandt’s flayed ox, it is a sacrifice, a piece of meat. It involves undoing the body-identity and transforming it into a malleable object, adaptable to one’s own desire and the exercise of its power.

Exhibition History:
The video was premiered as part of the exhibition Fábulas Problemáticas (Problematic Fables), inaugurated at the Antigua Tabacalera in 2011, organized by the MEC (Ministry of Culture) and curated by Susana Blas. The exhibition later toured through the Spanish Cultural Centers managed by AECID in Santiago de Chile, Rosario, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Mexico City, Miami, La Paz, Managua, San Salvador, Antigua, Asunción, Panama City, Montevideo, Santo Domingo, and Havana. It was also featured in the exhibition "Sensoryscapes Sensory Escapes" at Unlock House in Chicago.
